Welcome to Bradian, an abandoned mining town in the South Chilcotin region of British Columbia. Just 4 hours from Vancouver over the scenic   Hurley Pass,  Bradian was one of many towns built in the  Bridge River Valley during its   gold  mining heyday.  The restoration of Bradian, recently undertaken and ongoing, is an attempt to preserve one of the few remaining examples of our recent past. The uniqueness of owning an entire townsite with 22 buildings, on over 50 acres, with some of the original utilities still intact, is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Most of the buildings are minimally maintained, however 20 of the buildings have recently been painted and re-roofed (metal). The property is currently on 4 separate titles, but when the restoration is completed it is anticipated that it will be subdivided. It has power & phone, and is within the Bralorne Fire suppression district. All areas of the property have easy access by road, there is also substantial frontage, and access through the property to both sides of Cadwallader and Blackbird Creeks; and a water license on the latter as well. Bradian lies at an altitude of 3,700 ft. above sea level, receives an abundance of snow in winter, and has year round access, making it suitable for many winter activities. It lies on a bench that receives more sun exposure than probably any other property in the valley, and is surrounded by 9,000 ft. peaks.
